GET this – special effects make-up designer Tony Gardner, the man behind the creation of the late Michael Jackson’s Thriller music video, was specifically brought in to design the final look of zombies in the comic horror Zombieland.

Scared already? You’re such a wimp. Just beat it, man.

Also get this – shortly after the filming of Zombieland Woody Harrelson, the lead actor, had an altercation with a photographer at La Guardia Airport in New York City. And guess what Harrelson’s excuse for the incident was? Well, he said he thought he was still in character and that the cameraman resembled a zombie. Ha, ha, ha… that’s funny, I know. But you know what you (brainy flick fan) and I think he was up to. Yes, you’re right. He must have been high on something, Prozac most likely.

Or he might just have been fooling around, making a chimp out of himself as a stunt to get more publicity for the movie. Good attempt, Mr Harrelson, but we got you figured out.

There was no real need to throw your toys around like that because Zombieland is a runaway hit. Just the character names alone, which have been coined after place names, are enough to give you a chuckle.

Harrelson plays Tallahassee, Jesse Eisenberg is Columbus, Emma Stone acts as Wichita and Abigail Breslin features as Little Rock. All four have survived a zombie apocalypse and are on a long road trip in search of a safe haven free of zombies.

And in trying to stay alive and infection-free, the four, in spite of their differences and, at times, deceitful ways, must apply a set of laughable “rules” that have been put together by Columbus.

While following these rules, they must find innovative means to kill the ever-increasing zombies. Moreover, our survivors have to somehow enjoy “the little things” that life brings to them.

Columbus (Eisenberg) is a college student and is heading for – believe it or not – Columbus, Ohio, to investigate if his parents are still alive.

Columbus meets up with Tallahassee after losing his car to an accident and the two decide to travel together.

When they encounter sisters Wichita (Stone) and Little Rock (Breslin) at a grocery store, an extended journey of zombies’ elimination kicks off.

Actor Bill Murray enters the fray to play himself.
