United are now undefeated in 13 games , and as Celtic prepare to take on Gavin Hunt’s marauding side, it can’t have escaped their notice how clinical United were in overcoming Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.

But Hunt still managed to find something to criticise .

“I am concerned that while we have been winning, we have not been playing well,” Hunt said.

“My struggle is to keep motivating the players and it is even more dangerous when we face teams like Celtic. The task of making them realise that Chiefs have come and gone falls on me.”

United will be without Glen Salmon and Siyabonga Nkosi, who are out injured, while Tsietsi Mahoa returns from suspension .

With Jabu Maluleke, Anthony Laffor and the young Thandani Ntshumayelo in fine form, Celtic will have to bring their A-game to Super Stadium.

Siwelele defender Mbuyiselo Sambu said: “The coach obviously has a plan for us to contain them. United will score against the run of play and their set-pieces are deadly. But we are going there to compete for the three points on offer.”

Ditheko Mototo is the only doubtful starter in Owen Da Gama’s squad. Cecil Oerson and Patrick Malokase are expected to make life hard for Bongani Khumalo and company.
