THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Fifa have conspired by completely ignoring the glaring and deathly reality of HIV- Aids in Africa.

SA stained with blood of little children
SOUTH Africa is the land of plenty – in biblical terms it could be known as the promised land.

No need to jump when ET bleats
EUGENE Terre’Blanche is an imbecile who cannot even enjoy a smooth ride on a timid horse. This ageing non-entity is worse than an empty tin that makes the most irritating noise. He is a dying, hopeless man who has no place even in the dustbin of our history.

Let’s give praise where it’s deserved
“SIR, please chastise those who do wrong and shower unending praise on those who are prepared to do the right thing,” I pleaded with the late principal Rampomane at KwaMahlobo Secondary School.

Banish fear and have a useful life

  • We are our own worst enemies
I HAVE been diagnosed with depression. A few weeks after being referred to a psychologist I prepared to return to work on Monday.

A time to rest and time to work hard

Sipho tried his best to be honest
WHEN I was a child I was in a rush to grow up, now that I am older I realise that I am actually getting closer to my final resting place.

Hail King Teko for beating the odds
HE recently disclosed that his mother is a person living with HIV in a newspaper interview that gave an insightful description of his life before he became a superstar.

Help youth to escape bondage of ignorance
LAST Friday I attended a one-day Bridges of Hope workshop at Wits University. Those attending were third- year physiotherapy students, the majority of whom were young and aspiring South Africans.

Scientists the unsung heroes of all humanity
ONE OF the undetected ills within our society is the inability to identify, to appreciate and to accord praise where it is highly deserved.

HIV prevention key in quest to avert pandemic
THE regrettable fact that the majority of people with HIV can be found in Southern Africa is indeed a vexing to the spirit. So there is absolutely no doubt that our major challenge or priority should be prevention.

Humiliated by a bank as if I’m a criminal
MY immune system is immensely depressed. It seems the recession is prompting our banks to act with impunity and to treat its clients as if they are criminals.
