Somizi vs Dinner kwaSomizi tiff scooped the controversial drama queen of the year award last night at the 12th annual Feather Awards in Constitution Hill, Johannesburg.
Sowetan first broke the story in September in which Hastings Moeng claimed that he was the brains behind the Idols SA judge’s cooking TV show Dinner at Somizi’s.
Moeng alleged that he sent an email to Mhlongo in July 2014 proposing a light-hearted TV show to be titled Dinner kwaSomizi.

Refilwe Modiselle snatched diva extraordinaire of the year from Connie Chiume and Lindiwe Sisulu.
Aus Velemina, Vuyokazi Nguqu and Siv Ngezi lost out on social media personality of the year to Coconut Kelz.
Siya Kolisi took the honour of sports personality of the year and poet Napo Masheane won best rainbow parenting.
Socialite of the year went to Olwee, beating Sarah Langa and Shauwn Mkhize.
Fag hag of the year was a tie between Ngezi and Shumi Dantile.
