Ukhozi FM presenter Khathide “Tshatha” Ngobe has bounced back to the daytime line-up after being relegated to a night-time and weekend time slot last year.

Ngobe returns to afternoon drive and will be rejoining Selby Mkhize aka Selbyounce starting from April 1.

Another broadcaster back from the late night and weekend slots is Zimiphi “Zim Dollar” Biyela.

Biyela and Sifiso “King Sifiso” Sibiya will take over the 12pm to 3pm slot which was done by Bheka Mchunu.

Sipho “Sgqemeza” Mbatha and Nonhlanhla “Mroza” Buthelezi reprise their breakfast hosting roles now between 6am and 9am, extended by 30 minutes. The breakfast team will be joined by Mhlonishwa Sibisi, who will do sport.

The veteran of the station, Dudu “Lady D” Khoza, maintains her popular slot between 9am and 12pm.

The station will officially introduce Bingelela Mpanza who won the Winnie Mahlangu Female Presenter Search in 2021 to the line-up. Mpanza will do Sunday's show between 3am and 6am.

Mchunu will take over the popular Maskandi show on Saturday that was hosted by Biyela from 9am to 12pm.

Siyabonga Mhlongo, who was reported to be leaving the station, will host a new segment of the station called vodcast that starts on April 1.

“Siyabonga Mhlongo brings a wealth of broadcast experience as well as his exceptional interview skills to the vodcast which will be released Mondays to Fridays covering various topics that are bound to contribute to our listeners’ well-being,” said Ukhozi FM business manager Sbongi Ngcobo.
