SIX people were arrested in Kempton Park in the East Rand yesterday when the Gauteng traffic police anti-hijack unit seized a truck carrying stolen cigarettes worth R17-million, police spokeswoman Busaphi Nxumalo said.
"The truck had been hijacked in Sasolburg while on its way to Cape Town," Nxumalo said.
However, members of the police unit tracked it to Kempton Park.
The six men are expected to appear in court today.
