Private school pupils who wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams that were administered by the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) achieved a 98.92% pass rate last year – up from 98.76% in 2017.
Of those who passed, 90.65% achieved a bachelor’s pass qualifying them to study at university – including all 134 matrics at Kearsney College in KwaZulu-Natal.
