Two pilots were injured after their light aircraft crashed shortly after take off at the Rhino Park Airfield in Bronkhorstspruit, east of Pretoria, on Sunday afternoon.
Ambulance service Emer-G-Med said there was a fire in the cockpit shortly after take off.
One of the pilots required advanced life-support intervention, Emer-G-Med said.
